This 100% raw coconut blossom sugar is a low Glycemic Index sugar, making it a healthy alternative to conventional table sugar. It also boasts a high mineral content as it is rich in potassium, magnesium, zinc, and iron as well as vitamin B1, B2, B3, and B6. It does not contain any additives and is ideal for use as a sweetener in a wide variety of foods. Coconut blossom sugar is obtained from the coconut palm tree in two steps. First, the sap is extracted from the trees' flowers. This sap is then boiled until all the water has been evaporated, leaving you with the sugar in its final form. Coconut blossom sugar's main components are sucrose, closely followed by glucose and fructose. It boasts 36 times the iron, four times the magnesium and 10 times the amount of zinc as conventional table sugar.
